Founded in April 2004, BHCA is owned and managed by Mack Banner.
Mack Banner has spent 30 years managing and working in hospitals and other health care organizations around the world. Nearly half of those years have been spent in the Asia Pacific region. Mack served over 5 years as CEO for the Subang Jaya Medical Center, one of Malaysia’s leading private hospitals. He also served for more than 6 years as country level CEO (Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia) and later as company-wide COO for VISTA Healthcare Asia Pte Ltd, (later to become BUPA Health Care Asia Pte Ltd), one of Asia’s most innovative health care provider companies.
Mack has held a variety of CEO and developmental positions for Hospital Corporation of America, Tenet Healthcare, and BUPA with postings in Los Angeles, Saudi Arabia, San Francisco, Singapore, London, Sydney and in Virginia. He earned his Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration in 1975 from the Medical College of Virginia where he received the AD Williams Scholarship Award for academic excellence.
Mack compliments his extensive personal experience in Asia with a network of former associates and others actively involved in Asian health care operations and development.
